Smart Flow
Overview
Smart Flow is similar to Money Flow but is specifically designed to detect the activity of "smart money"—large institutional or professional traders. It helps you see when these major market players are accumulating (buying) or distributing (selling) assets. By tracking smart money, you can gain insights that are often not visible with standard indicators. Like Money Flow, this tool is highly adaptive, learns over time, and provides a more accurate view of market dynamics, allowing you to align your trades with institutional activity.

Settings
You can configure the Smart Flow settings to focus on the institutional activity that matters most to your strategy.

Smart Flow (Toggle ON/OFF)
Turns the advanced statistical smart money detection on or off. When on, it shows institutional accumulation and distribution patterns.
Smart Flow Sensitivity (User Input: 1-10)
Controls the sensitivity of the smart money detection. A lower number makes it more sensitive to short-term institutional activity. A higher number makes it less sensitive, focusing on longer-term smart money flows.
Smart Flow Filter (User Input: 1-10)
Controls how strong a signal needs to be before being displayed. It only shows one direction at a time. A lower number is less strict, showing signals with medium confidence. A higher number is more strict and requires stronger evidence before showing a signal.
Best Practices & Usage
Trade with Institutions: Use Smart Flow to see the direction that large, influential traders are taking. Aligning your trades with smart money can increase the probability of your trade being successful.
Spot Divergences: Look for times when the price is moving in one direction, but Smart Flow is moving in the opposite direction. For example, if the price is making new highs but bearish Smart Flow is appearing, it could be a warning sign of a potential reversal.
Combine with Money Flow: Use both Money Flow and Smart Flow together. If both indicators are showing the same direction (e.g., both are bullish), it represents a very strong, high-confidence signal that both the general market and smart money are in agreement.
Filter for High-Quality Signals: Just like with Money Flow, use higher filter and sensitivity settings if you only want to act on the most significant signs of institutional activity.
