News Events
Overview
The News Events feature in Lune Auto Trader lets you create a global list of scheduled events to pause your automated trading. This is ideal for avoiding high-risk periods, like economic reports or other major announcements that can cause sudden market volatility.
By adding events to this list, you can protect your accounts and follow prop firm rules that restrict trading during news.

Functionality
The News Events Panel includes the following options:
Add Event
Opens a window to input the date, time, and description of the news event.
Remove Event

Each event consists of a precise date and time in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS
and a short description for identification.

Go to the Account Configuration window and click "Edit" on the desired strategy.
Find the News Trading Filter setting and enable it.
Configure the "Exit Before News (minutes)" and "Wait After News (minutes)" options to control the blackout window around the event.
Save the strategy settings.
Best Practices
Plan Ahead: Add important economic events at the start of each week or month.
Use Clear Descriptions: This makes it easy to manage your event list.
Activate the Filter: Always remember to enable the News Trading Filter in your strategy's settings after adding events to the global list.
Check Your Timezone: Double-check that your computer's timezone is correct for your trading market to avoid timing errors.
