The Account Management interface in Lune Auto Trader provides users with full control over connected NinjaTrader or Tradovate accounts. It enables users to link, manage, and configure multiple accounts for fully automated strategy execution. Each account can have custom configurations, filters, and strategy assignments—allowing for advanced flexibility, better risk control, and seamless multi-account management.
To connect a NinjaTrader or Tradovate account:
Click “Add Account”.
Enter the exact account name (case-sensitive) as it appears in NinjaTrader/Tradovate.
Once added, the account will be visible in the dashboard with its connection status and account balance.
The main dashboard displays all connected accounts along with the following real-time information. It will display active trades.
Trade ID
Unique identifier for each trade
Instrument
The instrument being traded (e.g., ES JUN25)
Strategy
Assigned strategy name
Action
Current or pending trade action
Contracts
Number of contracts involved
Status
Execution status and progress
Global controls such as Start All, Advanced Settings, News Events, and Holidays are available across the top navigation bar.
Click Config next to any account to open the configuration panel.
Add Strategy
Assign a TradingView strategy to the account.
Instrument
Select the trading instrument (e.g., ES JUN25, NQ JUN25).
Contracts
Define the number of contracts to execute per signal.
Max Total Contracts
Limit total open contracts to manage exposure.
Allow Partial Exits
If enabled, permits strategies to exit trades in partial increments.
Enable News Trading Filter
Disables trading during configured news events.
Enable Holidays Filter
Disables trading during configured market holidays.
Enable Time-Based Filter
Disables trading during configured market hours.
You can save and reuse configurations for consistent setup across accounts.
Set as Default
Sets the current configuration as the default for future accounts.
Save Configuration
Saves the current setup.
Load Configuration
Loads a previously saved configuration.
Delete Configuration
Removes an existing saved configuration.
Use unique strategies per account if you're managing different instruments or risk profiles.
Set contract limits carefully to stay within prop firm rules or personal risk thresholds.
Enable filters like News and Holiday filters to avoid execution during volatile periods.
Keep configurations consistent across accounts by utilizing the save/load configuration options.
Name strategies clearly to identify their purpose and logic during live execution.
