Trade Management

Overview

The Trade Management settings allow users to customize how trades are managed once entered — including take profit levels, stop losses, trailing stops, and advanced exit algorithms. These controls help users adapt risk management to their trading strategy and improve trade outcomes across different market conditions.

Take Profit Settings

Overview

Take Profit (TP) defines the level at which a position is automatically closed to secure profit. You can choose between different calculation methods and specify the number of TP levels to scale out of positions.

Settings

Setting
Description

Take Profit Method

Determines how the TP level is calculated:

  • Percent (%) – Based on a fixed % move from entry

  • ATR – Uses Average True Range as multiplier

  • Signal – Exits based on opposite signals

  • Disable – No TP set

Take Profit Value

The size of the TP, based on the selected method.

# of Take Profit Levels

Number of TP levels to set (1–3). Each level locks in a portion of the position progressively.

Stop Loss Settings

Overview

Stop Loss (SL) protects your capital by closing trades when losses reach a specified threshold.

Settings

Setting
Description

Stop Loss Method

Determines how the SL level is calculated:

  • Percent (%) – Uses a fixed % distance from entry

  • ATR – Based on volatility

  • Signal – Closes trade on opposite signal

  • Disable – No SL applied

Stop Loss Value

The SL distance/multiplier based on selected method.

Trailing Stop Settings

Overview

Trailing Stop dynamically adjusts the SL level in the direction of the trade, helping secure profits while allowing positions to remain open during favorable movements.

Settings

Setting
Description

Trailing Stop Method

Determines how the trail is calculated:

  • Percent (%) – Fixed trailing distance

  • ATR – Dynamic trail based on market volatility

  • Signal – Uses opposing signals

  • Disable – Trailing Stop is off

Trailing Stop Value

Distance or multiplier used by the trailing stop logic.

Advanced Trade Exit Algorithms

Overview

Advanced Exit Algorithms are intelligent, prebuilt exit logics designed to identify optimal trade exit conditions based on statistical, trend, reversal, or momentum-based models. These algorithms provide dynamic trade management beyond basic TP/SL methods.

Multiple exit algorithms are available — each designed for specific trade behavior and conditions.

Settings

Advanced Exit Algorithms

Option
Description

Statistical Threshold Exit

Uses statistical deviations (e.g., Z-score thresholds) to detect favorable exits.

Trend Optimized Exit

Monitors trend strength and continuity to exit during weakening momentum.

Dynamic Reversal Exit

Detects early signs of market reversal to close before major shifts.

Hybrid Adaptive Exit

Combines multiple methods for a balanced and adaptive exit strategy.

Momentum Predictive Exit

Forecasts shifts in momentum to exit positions early or capture peak movement.

Disable

Disables advanced exit logic.

Sensitivity & Threshold Inputs

Setting
Description

Advanced Exit Threshold

Controls how extreme a condition must be before the algorithm exits a trade.

Advanced Exit Sensitivity

Adjusts how responsive the algorithm is to changing market data.

These two inputs are adaptive across all algorithms and act as global tuning variables.

Show Previous Trades

Setting
Description

Show Previous Trades

Toggle the display of historical trades directly on the chart.

Best Practices & Usage

  • For High Volatility Markets: ATR-based TP/SL and trailing stops adjust dynamically to price movement, offering better protection.

  • For Consistent Trending Markets: Trend Optimized Exit or Momentum Predictive Exit algorithms are effective in securing extended gains.

  • To Lock in Gains Early: Use multiple TP levels to scale out of positions as price hits predefined checkpoints.

  • For Adaptive Strategies: Combine Advanced Exit Algorithms with basic SL/TP for hybrid trade management.

Example Configurations

  • Stop Loss: ATR with value 1.5

  • Take Profit: Percent with value 2.0

  • Trailing Stop: Disabled

  • Advanced Exit: Statistical Threshold Exit
